Melissa has updated our rule book so make sure you check out the new guidelines on the web. Beginner Equitation is now points only (no medals), Adult Equitation (not Adult Beginner) has been modified and Overall Equitation Rider of the Year will consist of an exciting ride off at the Kismet show.
At our last meeting on February 4, we voted in Robin Rhodes (Stone Hollow) and Merideth Bachman (Kismet) as new Directors. They are looking forward to being part of the team and adding fresh ideas to the Association. Welcome!
As always, we look forward to your input, be it suggestions, kudos, not so kudos. Anything we can do to enhance our association is important to us.
Don't forget! If ever you come across someone who would be willing to donate a silent auction item, raffle prize, division sponsorship, hug them hard and let us know!
Magnolia Acres has a new show team this year but we will be in the background until April. Hayley now has a Santa Gertrudis show heifer and is doing the livestock show and rodeo circuit with Rosie so we might be a bit touch and go for Spring. Wish her luck as I do to all you guys (It's hard getting a cow to do lead changes!)
